Gimme Shelter is a 250 sq. ft. inhabitable installation made from 100 shipping pallets. Created for the 2012 DTOUR exhibition in Reedsburg, WI, the site-specific free-standing work was situated on the farm of the late social justice activist, John Kinsman. The structure housed a small wind-up stereo containing one of the final documented conversations with Kinsman.
